Private Childbirth Education Classes
I offer private in home childbirth education classes to expecting parents. I customize my curriculum to fit your individual needs. Sessions are typically once a week for 4 weeks.
Birth Doula
(Free Consultation)
I provide phone support for any questions or concerns that may arise in pregnancy. I offer 2 in home prenatal appointments. In these appointments we discuss your wishes, fears, concerns, daily activities, comfort measures, etc. I or my back up will meet you within 2 hours of you calling for labor support and will offer unlimited support. We will stay approximately 2 hours after the birth to establish breastfeeding and bonding. I will schedule a postpartum appointment within the first 6 weeks to check on you and baby and the adjustment process. I work closely with my back up doula and refer to her for Friday evening and Saturday births.
Postpartum Doula
(Free Consultation)
I offer 4-6 hour blocks of daily services which include light housework, laundry, emotional support for mom, newborn care, postpartum information, organizing feeding areas and baby’s area, belly binding (extra initial fee) etc. My goal is to make a family’s adjustment to a new baby smooth and easy.
Breastfeeding Support
I offer 2 hours of support in your own home. I assess baby’s latch, listen to any concerns and offer options to help strengthen your breastfeeding relationship.
Bengkung Belly Binding
I come to your home and teach you how to wrap your postpartum belly. I provide a beautiful wrap with sewn edges for you to keep. I leave you wrapped with multiple resources to look back to for optimal results and offer support for any questions or concerns you may have.
Baby Gear Consultant
I come to your home to discuss budget, space, lifestyle and needs for baby gear. I can create a baby registry of the best items that fit your family’s needs. Once a baby shower takes place, I will come and assemble your baby gear and organize it. If you are purchasing your own items, I will help you find the best deals.
